Welcome  to  our

PinkHockey

Why a special website for field hockey players who are gay or lesbian?  Very simple,  it  is  sometimes  nice  to  play hockey with like minded people. What's more, it is always nice to have  some hockey friends especially  when they live all over the world.

International Gay & Lesbian Field Hockey Federation

Because we have just launched this federation for gay & lesbian field hockey players we can't give you any more information. As sone we get any we will plaese it on the site.

The International Gay & Lesbian Field Hockey Federation (I.G.L.F.H.F.), or simply PinkHockey, was founded following the Sydney Gay Games in 2002. We are currently trying to gather interested players from all countries to set up more gay/lesbian field hockey teams. PinkHockey now counts among its member’s players from England, Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Scotland, USA, Belgium, Kenya, Romania and Argentina.

PinkHockey was launched to give every gay, lesbian or bisexual field hockey player a chance to be him- or herself on and around the field hockey pitch - in every sense of the word. PinkHockey maintains contacts with other (gay, lesbian or regular) field hockey organisations, sports organisations and federations. PinkHockey is a member of the GLISA, and one of the goals of PinkHockey is to organize each 4 or 5 years a World wide Gay & Lesbian field hockey tournament.

If you would like to know more or sign up please contact us, or have a look ad the website off the International Gay & Lesbian Field Hockey Federation (I.G.L.F.H.F.).
