The same faces; but a new name. The British PinkHockey touring teams "The London Guns'N'Roses Hockey Team" have changed there name to;

"The London Royals Hockey Team".

Our successful maiden tournament was in the 2007 Antwerp EuroGames. The boyz received the bronze medal for their efforts and the grrls won the silver medal. Many thanks to our friends in the Belgian, Dutch and German hockey teams for the hockey experience.

Everyone is welcome to join The London Royals - gay, lesbian, bisexual, straight makes no difference. The colour of your skin, hair or eyes as well as your religion, beliefs, race, age, gender or the way you want to dress or choose to live are not an issue, as long you are a field hockey player or a fan of the game you are more than welcome to join. It is not important whether you are a good hockey player or just a beginner. Enjoyment is the most important requirement.

The Team Spirit goes on!

Starting on the 25th of July, Copenhagen will be hosting a celebration the likes of which this city has never seen – and it’s all in your honor.

Already, thousands of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) athletes, artists, activists and our supporters have booked their place in World Outgames’ extensive program of sports, cultural and human rights activities. And the local community is fired up as well.

Fieldhockey team special !!

We have made it a little easier for you to get your teammates on their way to Copenhagen. To encourage as many team players as possible to participate in the Field Hockey Tournament at Outgames, we have made you a good deal:

What do you have to do to get your hands on this great offer? Your team captain must register with your team name, no later than the 31st of March 2009.

Then you just register 10 players or more, and send us the names and email of the players you would like to participate for free. We will take care of the rest for you. Send to campaign@copenhagen2009.org. Note: The free registrations are only for players who are not yet registered.
